Maya von Melle is a gorgeous 6 year old German Shepherd. This extra sweet girl is a little nervous at the noisy rescue – she’s ready to go home if you are!  With a low-to-medium level of energy, Maya meets other dogs expertly and seems to appreciate their presence in playgroups.  While not yet comfortable in her new surroundings, Maya shows fantastic signs of being a good girl.  Once she settles down and gets past a little anxiety, she walks quite well on leash.  She knows “sit,” “stay” and “paw,” and she is fully house-broken to boot!  She enjoys a good quality petting session and is great with kids and small dogs (good girl!).  Maya told us to ask you to forgive her if she shakes or hides under a table when you meet her – she’s a great dog who just wants to go home where she can relax and be your special girl!  She is in a foster home now with cats!!
